How to choose compound fertilizer?

The first is to see whether the packaging of the fertilizer bag is standardized, including whether the material is dense, whether the seal is neat, and whether the font printed on it is clear, correct and not easy to fall off.

1. See if the label on the packing bag is standard
The first is to see whether the packaging of the fertilizer bag is standardized, including whether the material is dense, whether the seal is neat, and whether the font printed on it is clear, correct and not easy to fall off. If the packaging bag is of poor quality, the seal is rough, and the printed font is not a standard Chinese character, it is replaced by pinyin, or the printed font is easy to fall off after friction, such products are generally fake and shoddy products.
Secondly, the marked content must be complete and standardized, including the respective content of three nutrient elements of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, as well as the total content, standard number and production license number of three nutrient elements. At the same time, it should be noted that according to national regulations, the content of trace elements is not allowed to be marked on the package of compound fertilizer. If the content of trace elements appears on the marked content, Basically, it can be concluded that it is fake and shoddy compound fertilizer.

2. Look at the morphological characteristics of compound fertilizer
The first is to look at the uniformity of compound fertilizer particles. If it is a compound fertilizer produced by regular manufacturers, the process is relatively qualified. The size difference between the particles of the produced compound fertilizer is not too obvious, that is to say, from the appearance and shape, it is relatively uniform. If the volume difference between them is large, it is generally fake and shoddy compound fertilizer.

The second is to look at the color. Compound fertilizer produced by regular manufacturers. Because the fertilizer is fully mixed and the uniformity is better in the process of granulation, the color difference between them will be less. If the color difference between particles is relatively large, it can generally be determined as fake and shoddy compound fertilizer.

3. See the foaming condition by heating
This method may be familiar to some farmers. The specific method is that you can take a few grains of compound fertilizer and put it on the metal spoon, and then put the spoon on the fire for heating. If it is a qualified compound fertilizer produced regularly, after encountering high temperature, the nitrogen component in the compound fertilizer often volatilizes in the form of ammonia, and bubbles will be generated in the process of volatilization.

If the compound fertilizer is not produced by regular manufacturers, the foaming is often small, the foaming speed is relatively slow, and there are more residues left after full heating.

4. See hygroscopicity
High quality compound fertilizer must be conducive to rapid dissolution in the soil. Therefore, the high-quality compound fertilizer normally produced often has good moisture absorption or solubility. This can be verified by simple experiments. First, take a small amount of compound fertilizer and grind it with both hands. The particles after grinding will form powder. If these powders will produce an obvious sense of moisture or viscosity, It shows that these compound fertilizers have good hygroscopic properties and are likely to be real compound fertilizers.
Another method is to take a small amount of compound fertilizer and put it in transparent containers such as transparent beakers or mineral water bottles, and then stir or shake it quickly. If these compound fertilizers can be fully dissolved in water in a short time and the amount of residue left is relatively small, then this compound fertilizer is more likely to be a real compound fertilizer.
